Little did I know when I selected that title how many unfamiliar paths I'd be going down.  First, in Hong Kong "they" said we had no tickets and we'd have to buy them (again) only took about 2 hours and calls to the travel agent in CO to get that straightened out.  But my gift bags were only 12.5k over weight.  That was good!  Oh did I tell you?  I took over 65 #s of gifts plus my clothes and stuff but my carry on was too big for PAL so it got weighted and checked.  That caused the over weight problem.
Second, I ended up in the Philippines with out my sidekick--son John and not much cash.  That is why I wasn't able to blog everyday and send all the pictures I took of the kids.

I have some wonderful friends at Shalom that took care of me.  I spent most of everyday at the Center getting to know the staff and kids.  What wonderful people of God.  Don't ever be afraid to go visit  your sponsored kid.  The staff will help you at every turn.  There is NO problem too big for them.

Good morning all.  I'm going to try to upload a video of the youth at Shalom on the Praise and Worship team.  I tried to do it on Ourcompassion in the sponsors only forum.  This stuff is all new to me.  If is doesn't work I'll try to get some help.  thanks for looking.

The fun things to do in the Philippines.  I got to join the staff of Shalom church on an outing to the resort for good old fun, food and fellowship.

our driver Pastor Philip got us there and back safely

OH, what a wonderful family I have in the Philippines.  The family of God!  Because of them and their generous heart for God I got to have thanksgiving dinner just like home.

I am so thankful for Grace and Romy and SEAMisT
for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner last night.
Please join me in asking God to bless them.
